Operation
•Unpack the soldering station and check all parts. Damaged parts must not be put into operation. •Install the iron stand and wet the cleaning sponge with water. •Put the soldering iron into the stand. •Place the soldering station on a solid and dry surface •Plug the soldering station and turn it on (I=ON/0=OFF). The LCD screen will show the set temperature of 300℃. •Then press the "+" or "-" button to adjust the temperature. Each press will be +/- 10℃. The soldering iron will reach your set temperature in 10 minutes . •Test the temperature by touching the iron tip with solder. If the solder melts easily, you can start soldering. •Tin the hot iron tip with solder; wipe off excessive solder with the wet cleaning sponge. •Heat up the soldering point with the iron and add solder. •Wait till the solder cools down. •Clean the tip with the wet sponge after each soldering. •After finishing the work, put the soldering iron back into the stand to cool down and turn off the soldering station. •For larger soldering tips, turn up to higher temperature settings to better perform the soldering. •Lower the temperature during breaks, which saves energy and extends the life of the soldering tip. •Do not file off the soldering tip, or it will be damaged. •Always put the soldering iron in the stand when it is heating up or during breaks. •Only use solder for electronics. Acidic solder can damage the tip or the workpiece. Package | Qty/Carton | Carton Size | N.W. | G.W. |
